Good evening everyone:
In an effort to create some consistent time for the lit. circles, every Thursday during period 3 702 should bring their lit. circle books and every Friday during period 7, 731 should have their lit circle book.
Please make sure to come prepared with your book and your readers' sourcebook.
Have a good night.

A new forum for social issues
Let's explore our democracy - while you were all at the Museum of Natural History, I was learning about ways we can learn about how our constitution is enacted today...

Visit our class link to talk about social studies specific ideas and issues.
I have to figure out what the login info is before anyone tries... thanks for letting me know that the other info didn't work.

Editing practice using worksheets
Editing - the big scary monster, so it seems...
It seems that everyone's greatest fear is the editing section. Today we will be doing one in class and going over it. On Thursday, I will make sure to have several editing sections to practice. It's really about practice and exposure.
I'd like to remind everyone, that they can practice everyday with their own work... Even in the posts about what your concerns are there were many careless mistakes. Like the word careless is spelled with an "e". When you start a new sentence after a period, the first word should be capitalized. Just because you are writing to the blog doesn't make you exempt from standard written English... practice, practice, practice!
