The first issue of the Blazer is here

What did you think of the first issue? Be specific... which articles did you like? What would you like to see in the next issue?

My favorite article was the suicide article. I thought it was very interesting. I would also like to see more articles about people doing that and what is the percent of people that do and try to commit suicide.

I really liked the Blazer. My favorite article was the one about the contaminated water. I would love it if the Blazer came out once every week or month. But I think the Blazer could use some more pictures and next time try to catch some more typos because one time you spelled text wrong and one time you spelled your as yur. Besides that, the Blazer is pretty good!

I really enjoyed the Blazer. It was informative, and very intriguing. I agree with Adam that we should be able to see the Blazer every month or so.
My favortie article that I read was the one about the Cell Phones. It lets everyone know that you shouldn't have your cell phone out, and is letting you know that it will be taken away. It will be helpful to students with cell phones out.

And also you can improve on the Blazer by making the front page a bit more colorful if possible!

I enjoyed reading "The Blazer". But like Adam said I also found a lot of typos and that it should come out each week like the WJPS broadcasts that we have. I even agree with the picture part. I think more people will be attracted to it if it was more colorful, more pictures, and maybe a little more than just a couple of pages. My favorite article was the ballroom dancing one because after I read that, I had many comments to say about it.

My favorite article in "The Blazer" was the one about the school uniforms. I agreed that students should be able to show their creativity and style. I think everyone is different, but it doesnt show if we are all dressed the same. Mrs.Poulos and Mrs.Schnider say that everyone here at wjps is an individual, but if we are all dressed the same way, our "individual" personalities won't be noticed.

I did not read the Blaver one. I read the cell phone one. To me what they said was really good, but I think was really not fare. It was one person that they found and I think that person should get in trouble not all of us with this phone check.

I noticed a lot of typos in the newspaper, although I thought the writing structure was very good. They could also use some more pictures, as Adam said. All the articles were interesting, but I think the one about drinking achahol was my favorite. It had a big affect on me, showing all the horrible things that can happen if you drink. I hope to be seeing a lot more issues!!!

I think for their first issue this year I think they did well, minus the fact of the typos. my favorite rticle was the one about ballroom dancing it caught my attention because i never liked dancing so this aticle was a heads up to what we will be doing next year. it counts as our P.E grade so if you fail ballroom you fail P.E. something that could improve "The Blazer" would be to add more pictures and make it more atractive (a dull newspaper for kids our age get less attention than something that keeps us interesting).

I thought it was interesting. I liked the article about contaminated water. I think it's true we do have contaminated water in our fountains. I would like to see more articles because then we could know what's going on in our school. We also know that the WJPS realizes what problems we have like contaminated water so we know someones going to get that fixed for us. I think they should put more pictures to make it look more interesting too.

i liked the very first article. The one about the water being strange and possibly hazardous to your health. I liked this one because it is important that we know what is going on if it effects us and that they didnt try hide it from us (not that we wouldn't have noticed strange looking water) I also like the way it was written and got informative quotes from students who expierienced it.

I thought that The Blazer was really good. My favorite article was the one about the water fountain because I also noticed that our school's tap water tastes kind of odd. I also agree that the Blazer should come out once or twice every week or so. I also liked the article about ballroom dancing, because I did not know that the eigth grade does not get phys. ed. The Blazer is really good!

My favorite article from the blazer was the dirty water one because it truly stated a serious problem having to do with the purity of the water from the fountain.

Spencer-
I thought it was great how we had a school newspaper and enjoyed it I think it will only bring success and expand a newspaper and media group which is good. I enjoyed very deeply the article on tryouts for a school soccer team for wjps. I would like that to happen, and think that it will only bring more success upon wjps. Which is great!!!!
