For example the issue in the newspaper about how a child got his toe stuck on an escalator while he just happened to be wearing crocs so they decided to try and ban them; personally I blame the parents in this part because they willingly decided to let their child out of their sight on an escalator which is pretty stupid considering the ignorance of children around the age of two who don't know what can hurt them and what can't. Just because the parents were foolish doesn't mean a company should go out of business, not that I don't feel sorry for the kid but if his parents were just a little bit more careful he wouldn't have lost the skin on his toe. I bet that if the child was wearing Sketchers or Jordan's they would try to ban those too. I don't support over protective parents but these are the kind of parents who let their kid go out to late night parties without being told and hardly give them a scolding.
