Editing - the big scary monster, so it seems...

It seems that everyone's greatest fear is the editing section. Today we will be doing one in class and going over it. On Thursday, I will make sure to have several editing sections to practice. It's really about practice and exposure.

I'd like to remind everyone, that they can practice everyday with their own work... Even in the posts about what your concerns are there were many careless mistakes. Like the word careless is spelled with an "e". When you start a new sentence after a period, the first word should be capitalized. Just because you are writing to the blog doesn't make you exempt from standard written English... practice, practice, practice!

I feel I will do good on the ela test but what gets me the most is the fixing part. What I'm doing is that my mom is writing paragraphs for me and then I fix it up. I'm getting better and better but I fell like we should do some more in class.

i think that finding run on sentences are the easyest to find . all you have to do is put a period in the middle of the sentences . i think the hardest think to do is putting commas in to places . some times its easy because u just have to put a comma between each word when u make a list in a sentence.
