Trip Hw
On today's trip, I learned many interesting things on web safety. I never thought of the internet really as dangerous until I went on this trip today. I learned that even with the slightest bit of information, child abductors could come looking for you. It is important to NEVER give away any personal information to a person that you do not know or have never seen before. If you do, there is a high chance that you will eventually regret it.
Internet safety is a very important thing. I am glad that I do not have a Facebook or MySpace, because those things are what can give away some of your personal information. Anyone could be a child predator, which is why it is important to know how to avoid them.
1) Never give away any of your personal information. (i.e. Phone #, Address, etc.)
2) Never agree to meet your online "pal", because you just might end up getting abducted.
3) Make sure you tell a parent or guardian about this person that you have been chatting to if that person says anything "wierd" or "unusual".
4) This "online pal" usually pretends to like what you like and have your interests. They seem really nice and that is what lures kids in and suddenly hook, line, sinker, abduction.
Watch out for online predators, they will stop at nothing to try to harm you. "Be wise. Be wise. Don't trust who you don't know"
Sorry I posted this here, I didn;t know where to put it.
