In class today each of you were given different standards and indicators of the writing and reading strands... what did you learn? How does it relate to this final project and other work we've done this year?
How can you achieve a 4 on your exit project? What do you think? (visit the other post from late April about the criteria for assessment)

today in class, i learned that one standard (writing) is to use different genres, which definitely relates to the exit project. Also I learned that another standard is to learn how to make a successful conclusion, which we can use for an essay if we write one.
For the project, like Ms.Sackstein said, you can get a 4 by following directions. Also you can proofread and have other people review it. You should also make sure you don't have repetitive information and no information from wikipedia
I thought the standard I had was related to the exit project. It also related to other things we did in class. It was presenting using different strategies when presenting. It related to other things we did in class because we had few projects that required presenting, such as, the constitution project, my neighborhood projects and more. We had to use different kinds of strategies. It also relates to the exit project we are doing right now because we have to present our exit projects next week in class.
In humanities today, I learned that one of the seventh grade standards is using a variety of different print and internet sources to find the definitions of words. This is used in our exit blog projects when you are creating a glossary. For example, you may know the definition of a word, but may not know how to explain it in a way that others will understand it. In that case, you could use websites like dictionary.com or find it in a dictionary. I believe that I can acheive a 4 on my exit blog project by making sure that I spread my information out more, because that way, each post will be unique and repeat as little information as possible.
One of the standards I learned in class today was about revising. This could get you a 4 because your exit project will get better and updated. It will show that you put in a lot of effort in it to make it look better and more understoodable. Also, as I was reading the paper Ms.Sackstein gave out, I knew that I didn't follow most of them after I was done with all the posts. I was careless about it and didn't make a lot of revisions for the past days. Another standards I learned was to look in the glossary and the index to gather up more information. This would help since it will improve your researching skills and also you will have more information.
today in class i learned that i have to see the diffrent infomation i used. other thing i learned is use the correct grammer into your work and use the teachers adise when ever she helps you in something. For getting a Four you have to revise in your work that you do, that will help your mistakes like run on sentence. Grammers, spelling and on computer no short cut of words.
Today in class, I learned that one of the standards asked you to know a wide range of vocabulary. It relates to the exit project because you would need to know the words that you put in your glossary and also in your writing. If you don't have a wide range of vocabulary, then you would be always repeating the same thing. A good vocabulary also helps your decide when to use a word and when not to.
I think I can get a 4 on my project by have good spelling, grammer, information, creativity, and also effort.
today in class we learned about the standers or rubric for projects, and what we need to master. i had the writing one and that there are many ways to check your spelling. i think that you could get a 4 on the project by following directions, correct spelling and grammer. i thought this rubric is related to the blog exot project beacuse we have many typos and cpould make careless spelling mistakes.i personally relate to this beacuse im not the best speller and i am awaer of it and the rubric is going to help alot

today in class we learned about the standers we needed to meet.(rubrics)
i got the one about spelling i was glad i got the one about spelling beacuse im not the worlds freates speller=\ this gave me tips of how to check grammer and spelling. this relates to the blog project beacuse sometimes the blog dosnt correct some spelling errors(typos)
i think this will really help e and ohter peers in spelling

One standard(writing) I thought of was clarity. Making sure that the passage flows and makes sense to the reader. No repeating any other sentences to make the passage longer(filler).
Another standard is to correct all spelling and grammar words, using bigger vocabulary words, and have definitons out ready for people with a small vocabulary. =).
I know that I will get a 4 if I work on my organizations in some passages, and use a wider range of vocab. words (just like i said n top ^).
In class today, I learned about some standards such as being able to use creative language, citing sources, and learning how to use important information and leave out the less important. These relate to the exit project because when you're doing the different genres, you could use creative language to make it easier for the reader to picture whats happening. Citing sources is mainly focused on the bibliography that we have to have for this project. Also when we write these posts, we need to know what information to put it and what to leave out; and trying not to repeat the same information.
When we were looking at the standards in class, I realized that we've been following them for every project this year. Keeping each post organized and clear and 10 different genres will help get a four on this project. The posts also have to be well written and well researched, the directions must followed.
In class I learned from the Writing/Reading standars that we use a lot of information from different sources, I also learned that when we read or listen to a writing we should take notes in any way that we understand, I said that it is hard for me because I don't really like taking notes, I try to remember what I heard and write it down without using any method. I also learned that if you want to get a 4 in a project you should follow directions, make sure it's correct and that you used you're own words. I used this standars in my project by taking a lot of notes on the information that I find and I make sure not to use Wikipedia =]
I think the standards that I read in class does relate to the blog exit projects. One of the standards that I read said listening and giving them feedback. We are going to need to listen carefully for the blog presentations next week and give everyone POSITIVE feedback. We have used these standards during the entire school year.
I think that I can get a four on my exit project by working hard on my spelling and grammar and making my genres what there supposed to be. That day in class I learned that standards are really important and they make us work harder to make our work perfect and I also learned that Ms. Sackstein could of put many, many more standards if she wanted to.
I think a true Four is a project where you hit every critera f the project exactley as asked. From passed expierence I have learned
that if you're project looks nice and you worked really hard on it but did'nt follow all the directions you'll probably get a 3 or a 2.
