Go over the multi-genre assignment and create a list of concerns and questions to be discussed in class.
questions should be posted on the blog as per Nina's question.

for the explore project is it okay if we draw a picture that you found of your person or something related that was searched, instead of printing it? do yu have to give credit to the person who drew it or where you got it from?
The word Genre is making the directions confusing. What exactly does the word Genre mean?
Questions for tonights hw:
Can one of the genres be an award or certificate to the explorer?
Instead of a skit, can we write a monologue?
What is a newspaper obituary?
How big do the pictures for the cover have to be?
Great questions...
it should be typed...
an award or certificate would be okay, but remember that each one of your genres needs to include at least 3 facts... I worry that you'd be able to do that with an award.
a monologue is fine...
a newspaper obituary chronicles someone's life after they die... look in any paper in the obituary section... or when a famous person dies the kinds of articles that are written.
your whole piece will be a regular paper size, so the cover pictures have to fill the page.
for the diary do I have to write what I think Marco Polo would write like?
How long do poems have to be?
Does the map have to be aqett?
Do we need a table of contenss?
the poems have to be long enough to tell at least 3 facts...
you need a table of contents, it's on the assignment sheet.
and the maps need to be accurate.
For any letters you are writing it has to be in the first person as if you were the explorer... so yes, try to write what you think Marco Polo would say...
I dont have any concerns with the project.
